Vision and Values
Being the church, the hope of the world in Ashton, BS3 and beyond
Our Mission
We are an Anglican church at the entranceway to BS3 and South Bristol and we seek to bless our local community as we share the love of Jesus. Our services express a wide span of the church tradition with informal family services, an evening service of contemporary worship with space to encounter God in a variety of ways and our mid-morning Sunday service allows us to worship God using all the senses with music, liturgy and the use of incense in our communion services that reminds of God’s presence in the midst of worship.
We gather on Sundays so that we are equipped and prepared to be the church the rest of the week whether it is in our neighbourhoods, our workplaces or friendship groups, so that we can be the church, the hope of the world.
Our Values
At the heart of our values is the story of a young lad who brings his picnic to hear Jesus teach about the Kingdom of God. As the people become hungry, the other followers of Jesus starts to try and work out how to feed the thousands of people. In steps a boy and the miraculous story of provision from a small picnic speaks of:
discipleship becoming like Jesus,
community shared lives with other people
service a heart to bless those around us
